VDZ short towing pin for Ford F-MAX
VDZ Systems has developed two different adapters for the Ford F-Max, which together form a complete set: one short pin and one long pin, each designed to match the specific thread types in the chassis.
Good to know: this short towing pin is often purchased together with the Long Towing Pin for Ford.
To ensure proper installation, our advice is to supply the Ford F-Max adapters (pins) with the corresponding thread cutters. These are essential, as one of the adapters features very fine threading.
- For the Ford F-MAX (Short Towing Pin) you'll need the VDZ M45 Tap X 4.5
- For the Ford F-MAX (Long Towing Pin) you'll need the VDZ M50 Tap X 2.02
Cleaning the thread (with our cutters) thoroughly before mounting the adapter into the chassis is crucial for a secure and seamless fit.
